About Oumeima El Khalil:
Since the discovery of her talent at an early age, Oumeima’s father struggled to find her a place in the Arab art scene, Meeting the artist Marcel Khalife, was the fruit of this effort. Khalife gave Oumeima and her voice exceptional care, in terms of the framework and the technical level.
Since, she was aware of the importance of art, especially on the humanitarian level.
Oumeima became a professional singer at 12 years old when she sang “Aasfour, Nami Ya Zghiri, Ya maalemti…)
Oumeima released her first solo album in 1994 Titled:
“ Khalini ghanilak “ “ Let me sing for You”
Composed and Produced by Marcel Khalifé.
Oumeima is also working with husband composer Hani Siblini since 2000
Together they have released Two Albums :
– 1 Oumeima 2000
– 2 Oumeima Ya… Whirling like a Derwish
In addition to many songs in the framework of Marcel Khalife (Al-Mayadin), among them “Ahmad El Arabi” written by Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish.
